BMW 630 CS (E24) 1st Series

BMW 630 CS (E24) 1st Series built in 1977 with an odometer reading of 179,322 KM.

The E24 was the first 6-series model and succeeded the BMW E9 Coupé (CS, CSi and CSL) in August 1976. The 630CS and the 633CSi were the two types that were available. In 1978 a more powerful variant came onto the market, namely the 635CSi.

In 1982 the E24 was updated. Many old parts were replaced by parts from the new E28 5 series. A sportier version was also released, namely the M635CSi. This has the same 24-valve engine as the BMW M1.

In the beginning of production, the E24 models were built at Karmann. However, the quality was mediocre and BMW later decided to produce the cars in-house in Dingolfing (Germany).

This rear-wheel drive BMW is equipped with a manual gearbox and a 2966cc 6-cylinder engine, which is good for 185 HP.

A few years ago, this 630 was partly overhauled in terms of the bodywork and completely repainted in red.

This 630 CS, which is currently in the possession of its 2nd owner who has always used the car as a hobby and had the intention of having it made into a rally car, came to the Netherlands in 2009 and was registered with a Dutch license plate. .

Is in good condition, both technically and cosmetically (exterior).

The interior has black full leather, which is in an original and neat condition.

The underbody still looks neat and the car drives, brakes and shifts well.

However, some things still need to be completed, there are still a few parts missing here and there (see the photos).

This BMW is equipped with an MOT inspection report with a validity date until 09-10-2025 and an odometer report from the RDW.

There is no further maintenance history available on the car.
