Description

Mini Cooper S Mk3 1971 K registration. Showing 43,000 miles, comprehensive history file which includes vast amounts of paperwork pretty much going back to when the car was a year old, nearly all mot's going back to 1976, tax discs including one from 1972, genuine owners handbook, and tuning instruction manual. Gleaming solid black paintwork with black interior and red carpets. Having been built in October 1970 but then not registered until August 1971 it is believed that this car was the Geneva Motor Show Car as a Black with Black interior car was taken that year. This would explain the gap between build and registration. However there is no proof in the paperwork, it needs some more investigation. The car is matching numbers with the genuine body shell throughout. The body was fully restored many years ago and still looks stunning, the interior was re-trimmed by Newton Commercial and still looks like new. The mechanicals were also completely gone through and the car drives perfectly. It has been my own car for around six years and is a very reluctant sale.
