Californian Car
Description
I purchased the car in California around 5 years ago,it’s a rust free older restoration.Originally Spruce Green, the colour was changed to the most popular colour choice of ice blue over cream, there are no traces of the original paint! The paint is in very good condition, not perfect, the black upholstery is excellent as are the carpets and door panels.
The motor is original, has proper oil pressure and runs well without any signs of overheating. The five speed manual gearbox is a delight to operate with the gear lever being in the correct position.
Brakes are new,the fronts being from a later 3000 Mk 3,tyres and tubes are new and the correct size.
The car has all new weather equipment.
This example is not concours, but is a great driving and touring car and would be perfect in the South of France or driving through the Alps.
The car is with me in Scotland and I would be prepared to deliver in my enclosed trailer to mainland Europe with the correct documentation.
