Description

Transmission: 5 gears, Manual gearbox
Interior colour: blue

The DBS succeeded the DB6 in 1967 and was itself replaced by the Vantage in 1972. It is larger than the DB6 and offered four full seats. He did take over the 4-liter inline 6 engine from its predecessor. It normally produced 282 hp, but was increased to 325 hp with the free optional Vantage package. What was striking about the DBS was its modern design and the use of an angular radiator grille, unusual for Aston Martin. Production ran from September 1967 to April 1972.

Two series of the DBS were built. The second was introduced in January 1970 following the introduction of the DBS V8. The small grilles in the rear C-pillars were replaced by a grille under the rear window. This makes the second series easy to distinguish from the first. There were also a number of minor changes.

This car presented here is a beautiful Aston in light blue metallic with a dark blue interior. The bodywork is very sleek and the interior also looks perfect. It is a manual Aston, which is rare in this series. Furthermore, it contains the V8 engine, which is an upgrade of the 6-cylinder version. It drives, shifts, steers and brakes very well. A beautiful appearance on the road!
