The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation

Regarded by classic car collectors and automotive aficionados as one of the most beautiful Aston Martin ever created, just 19 examples were built in the early 1960’s, with international motorsport objectives. The model offered the ultimate performance available in 1960 and were campaigned in International sportscar racing, including at the Le Mans 24 hr races. Original examples have, in recent years, acquired an ‘unobtainable’ status in collector circles, with the majority of the 19 manufactured, now securely stored in investor vaults. Values of £8-10 million + have become established numbers in the global collector market, dependant on individual car and competition history, , commanded by sellers who may occasionally tire of their cars beauty and wish to divest.

Hand built, to the highest possible quality, 60 years later in 2019, by Aston Martin’s UK based Heritage centre in Newport Pagnell, the magnificent DB4 GT Zagato Continuation’s were built to the 1960’s original configuration, utilising the traditional engineering and hand building skill, combined with modern engineering advancements and performance enhancements. The lightweight aluminium coachwork, steel chassis, mechanical components and traditional hand building skills, remained employed in the creation of the continuation DB4 GT Zagato’s. Completed with all new components and to ultimate specifications corresponding to the 1960’s-built examples, production was restricted to 19 cars only.
