Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Bertone

Beautiful and neat Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Bertone from the year of construction 1964 with an odometer reading of 06651 kilometers.

The Alfa Romeo 2600 was a model of the Italian car brand Alfa Romeo that was built between 1962 and 1968.

At the Geneva Motor Show in 1962, Alfa Romeo introduced the 2600, the successors to the 2000 Berlina, Spider and Sprint. The 2600 versions, like the old Alfa Romeo 6Cs, were given an engine with six cylinders in line. The cylinder capacity was 2584 cc, the maximum power for the Berlina was around 130 hp and for the Spider and the Sprint 145 hp. The chassis of the 2000 was adopted more or less unchanged. Once again, the body of the Berlina was built by Alfa Romeo itself, the Spider by Touring and the Sprint by Bertone.

Of the total of only 6,999 2,600s produced, this Alfa is one of the earlier examples.

This 2600 Sprint was registered on a Dutch license plate in 2020 and has been in the possession of its current owner since then.

A very extensive, well-documented history, consisting of a folder with, among other things, various invoices and photos of the restoration, which was carried out by Auto-GT in 2020/2021.

The color combination can also be called very tasteful, the body is sprayed in the color white. A very nice contrast with the renewed dark brown leather interior that was provided at the time by Meneer Sam from Apeldoorn.

And let's not forget the electric window, which also works by the way.

In that respect, the Italians were already far ahead of the other brands in terms of technology/electronics at that time.

In 2020/2021, the Alfa Romeo was thoroughly overhauled, and invoices are also included with the car.

This Alfa Romeo 2600, which is in very good condition, is a feast for the eyes. The paintwork is still in very good condition 4 years later.

The bodywork has great fits of the sills, mudguards, doors, bonnet and trunk lid.
