1954 | Alfa Romeo 1900 C Super Sprint Touring

1954 Alfa Romeo 1900 SS Series 3 5 Window Touring Coupe, Serial No. AR1900-01735, Motor No. AR1308-00825, Touring Carrozzeria No. 4220.  

Completely dismantled, needs restoration.  Missing front and rear bumpers, but otherwise complete.  Disassembled except for suspension, engine block, transmission, rear end, instruments still in dash. All glass is intact.  Nardi type wood steering wheel.  Paint has been stripped to the bare alloy.  General condition of body is good, but some floor rust (see photos) and inner door frame rust.  Interior has been reupholstered in cloth.  

Title:  Chassis and motor numbers match.  Clear Pennsylvania title, documentation includes the original invoice and Italian registration from 1954, detailed ownership history from new.

Wheels and Tires:  Borrani 72-spoke wires with alloy rims (5), with new old stock Michelin X 165-400 tires and tubes.  New old stock Koni shocks included.

Engine:  Block is in car, 3 pistons and bearings still in block, head, pan and ancillaries off.  One head stud broken and clutch pressure plate missing.  Head has been cleaned, appears to have been trued, new valves and springs installed.   Exhaust headers (tubular) are available but bent, exhaust system rusted, but can be used as a pattern for duplication.  New clutch disc included.  Starter and generator rebuilt many years ago.  Radiator cleaned and repaired many years ago.  Radiator blind assembly included.  New Old Stock engine gasket set included.  NOS Frendo clutch disc included.  NOS main bearings included.  NOS piston rings included.  Generator and starter refurbished years ago.  5 speed transmission with column shift.
